१. MPSC म्हणजे काय?
MPSC म्हणजे ‘महाराष्ट्र लोकसेवा आयोग’ (Maharashtra Public Service Commission). ही एक घटनात्मक संस्था आहे जी महाराष्ट्र शासनातील विविध श्रेणी-१ (Group A) आणि श्रेणी-२ (Group B) पदांसाठी भरती परीक्षा आयोजित करते. याद्वारे उपजिल्हाधिकारी, पोलीस उपअधीक्षक (DySP), तहसीलदार यांसारख्या मोठ्या पदांची निवड होते.
२. शैक्षणिक पात्रता:
पदवी: उमेदवार कोणत्याही मान्यताप्राप्त विद्यापीठातून कोणत्याही विषयात पदवीधर (Graduate) असणे आवश्यक आहे.
अंतिम वर्षाचे विद्यार्थी: पदवीच्या अंतिम वर्षात असलेले विद्यार्थी सुद्धा पूर्व परीक्षेसाठी अर्ज करू शकतात.

४. परीक्षेचे टप्पे:
MPSC राज्यसेवा परीक्षा मुख्यतः तीन टप्प्यांत घेतली जाते: १. पूर्व परीक्षा (Preliminary Exam): यामध्ये दोन पेपर असतात (GS आणि CSAT). ही परीक्षा केवळ पात्रता फेरी असते. २. मुख्य परीक्षा (Main Exam): पूर्व परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण झालेले उमेदवार या परीक्षेसाठी पात्र ठरतात. ३. मुलाखत (Interview): मुख्य परीक्षेतील गुणांच्या आधारे उमेदवारांना मुलाखतीसाठी बोलावले जाते.
